aoto suffers from a loss of memory. Her earliest memory is that of the murder of her parents. At the beginning of the manga, she is under the roof of Fuyumine, her mentor. At first she believes him to be the killer, but after a series of events, she is finally shunted onto the right path.
Although she has a cold demeanor, Naoto is actually kind, always doing the right thing when the moment strikes. Regardless of whose side she is on, she would never let another person get hurt in front of her eyes.
Naoto first appeared in Chapter 3 of the first volume of Dogs, "Blade Maiden." The chapter title serves as an appropriate nickname for her as well.
